Brand Teardown Live

Monthly. Live. Real brands dismantled on screen. Bring popcorn and a notebook.

Forget the buzzwords. Look at the mechanics.

What this is

Every month we take apart brands in the news and on your feed. What they say, what they actually do, and the gap between. Submit your own brand for a public teardown if you are brave.

What you will be able to do

Modules

  1. The headline brand: what everyone is arguing about, and what they missed. Each month we dismantle the brand dominating the conversation: what they claimed, what they did, and the gap in between. You learn to read the mechanics underneath instead of reacting to the noise.
  2. Say versus do: the one test that exposes most brands. Every teardown runs the same check: compare the brand's words with its pricing, service and behaviour. You learn the single comparison that reveals most brand problems in a few minutes.
  3. Positioning in 60 seconds. We name each brand's real position, not its tagline. You train your eye to identify territory, audience and promise from a storefront, a feed or a price list, faster every month.
  4. The priming trail: why some brands never need to discount. Trace what a brand installs before it sells: first impressions, repeated cues and the moment price finally appears. You learn to see why some brands close easily while others keep running promos.
  5. Promo watch: what this month's sales are really teaching customers. We pick the loudest promos on Shopee, TikTok and the high street and read what each one teaches customers about the brand's real value, before you are tempted to copy them.
  6. The audience brand: brave enough to be torn down?. A participant-submitted brand, taken apart live with honest, specific feedback. You watch the method applied to a real Malaysian SME, and you can submit your own brand for a future session.
  7. Steal this. Skip that.. Every teardown ends with the moves worth copying and the mistakes worth avoiding. You leave with a short, specific list you can apply to your own business the very next morning.
  8. Straight answers, no upsell. Ask anything about your brand, your pricing, your content or a brand you noticed this month. No hedging and no sales pitch, just a direct answer you can act on.
