UnTemplated: Build Your Own E-Commerce With Claude

Template? Rented design. Agency? Rented skill. Own it instead.

24 hours. Sold out. So we opened another session.

What this is

Build a custom e-commerce site with Claude in one day. No developer, no monthly platform rent, no coding knowledge, just structured prompts and a brand that knows what it stands for before a single page gets built. You leave Subang Jaya with product pages, a cart, CHIP and Stripe payments, an admin panel, a database, hosting and a live domain. The same method behind unofficial.my, which took real orders the week it launched.

What you will be able to do

Modules

  1. Template? Rented design. Your store? Owned.. We open the day by pulling apart why template builders make every Malaysian store look like the one next door, and what monthly platform rent really costs you over a few years. You walk out knowing why owning your store beats renting one, and what you are about to build instead.
  2. Everyone Is Not Your Customer.. Before any page exists, you pin down who your store is for, what they are really buying and why they should pick you over a hundred Shopee sellers. You leave this block with a short positioning statement that every page, product description and prompt for the rest of the day is built on.
  3. Five Seconds. That Is All Your Homepage Gets.. You learn UnBranded's Branding Pillar 70:30 layout, the alternative to the tired hero, storytelling and CTA formula every template ships with. You map your own homepage on paper so a stranger knows what you sell, who it is for and why it matters within 5 seconds of landing.
  4. Pretty Doesn't Sell. Structure Does.. We break down the page order and copy that move a visitor from curious to checkout: headlines, product descriptions, proof and the words on your buttons. You walk out with your core page copy drafted in your own voice, ready to hand to Claude instead of letting it make things up.
  5. Prompt Like a Brief, Not a Wish.. Most people get generic sites from Claude because they type vague wishes. You learn the structured prompt method that turns your brand, positioning and copy into clear instructions, and you leave with a reusable prompt set you can run again for any store.
  6. Page by Page, Built in Front of You.. With your prompts ready, you build the real pages live: homepage, about, product pages, cart and contact, all following the 70:30 layout you planned. By the end of this block your store looks like your brand, not a theme somebody else picked for you.
  7. Your Catalogue, Not a Spreadsheet Dump.. You set up the product catalogue properly: categories, prices, variants like size and colour, photos and descriptions that actually sell. You walk out with your first products loaded and displaying correctly on the store, so you are not staring at placeholder items when you go live.
  8. Malaysians Pay by FPX. Your Store Should Too.. You connect CHIP so customers can pay through FPX online banking, the way most Malaysians actually pay online. We walk through the account setup, the connection to your store and what happens after a payment goes through, so you leave with a checkout that takes local bank transfers.
  9. Cards Too. Nobody Should Leave at Checkout.. You add Stripe for credit and debit card payments, so customers who do not use online banking still have a way to pay. You leave with two payment options running side by side and a clear picture of how money moves from your customer to your account.
  10. Your Admin Panel. Your Rules.. You build a private admin panel connected to your own database, where you upload new products, edit prices and see every order that comes in, without waiting for a developer. You walk out able to run the back end of your store yourself.
  11. Live Means Live. Not a Demo Link.. You connect your domain, put the store on hosting and run through a launch checklist covering pages, links, mobile view and payments. Then you place a real test order from start to finish, so you leave the room knowing the store works because you have watched it work.
  12. One Store Today. The Next Idea Tomorrow.. We close with how to change, fix and grow the site yourself after the class, from new products to new pages, using the same prompts. You walk out with a method you can repeat for every new business idea, instead of paying someone each time an idea needs a store.
