The Entrepreneurial Mindset

Spot real opportunities, test them cheaply, prove the market, and build a venture that holds.

Waiting for certainty? The market will not wait for you.

What this is

Business cycles are shrinking and the ground keeps moving, so waiting for certainty is the riskiest move left. This course trains the habits entrepreneurs use to act anyway: spotting opportunities in friction, testing ideas cheaply, proving problem-solution, product-market and business model fit, and growing with customer cash, resourcefulness and the right people. Built on Malaysian cases you will recognise.

What you will be able to do

Modules

  1. The Ground Keeps Moving. Why a volatile, hyperconnected world punishes waiting, and why the entrepreneurial mindset is a set of habits anyone can practise. 3 lessons.
  2. Spotting Opportunities. Where real opportunities come from, and how to filter the many ideas you notice down to the few worth testing. 2 lessons.
  3. How Entrepreneurs Decide and Act. Bias for action, working with uncertainty instead of waiting it out, and turning failure into learning instead of shame. 3 lessons.
  4. Problem-Solution Fit. Prove the problem is real and painful, then prove your answer is wanted, before you build anything expensive. 2 lessons.
  5. Product-Market Fit. Recognise real market pull, measure whether customers stay, and decide when to persevere, pivot or stop. 3 lessons.
  6. Business Model Fit. Make sure the way you win, serve and earn from customers holds up financially before you scale it. 2 lessons.
  7. Resourcefulness and Bootstrapping. Fund growth from customers and cash flow, and build more with what already exists around you in the Malaysian context. 2 lessons.
  8. Team and Network. Choose partners and early hires deliberately, build a network that compounds, and turn the mindset into a weekly practice. 2 lessons.
